The Swim Whisperer is hands down the best swim program we've ever done, and we've tried several! Kristi and Tami are true masters at what they do—truly the swim whisperers. We have two boys, ages 5 and 3, and after years of struggling with swim lessons, we finally found the right place. Our 5-year-old had a huge fear of water and would cry, refuse to even step in, and would immediately panic at the mention of swim lessons. Our 3-year-old wasn't much better; he was also terrified and would cry during every lesson. It felt like a constant battle, and we were at a loss for what to do next. We heard great things about The Swim Whisperer and decided to give it one last shot before we gave up. After just one 7-week session, I’m honestly in shock at the progress. Both boys now look forward to swim lessons and are even going underwater! I watched them improve week after week and couldn't believe how much they were enjoying themselves. Kristi and Tami are worth every penny and the drive to lessons. They are patient, kind, and clearly have a special gift when it comes to working with kids. Their ability to build confidence and make the lessons fun has been life-changing for our boys. The joy and pride they now feel in the water is priceless. My 6 year old is very stubborn and was adamant that she would not put her face in the water, this came on all of a sudden too so I wasn’t sure how her first lesson would go. But after the first time with Tami she was going under and so very proud of herself. Her confidence continued to build along with her skill and the progress she has made is truly remarkable! Tami is so fun, kind and patient. Maggie now LOVES swim lessons and it is her favorite activity. We are so grateful to Tami and the swim whisperer’s team! I highly recommend.

I contacted the Swim Whisperers in a panic because my daughter’s swim test for camp was coming up, and she was very anxious. Kristi quickly got in touch to schedule a private lesson. From the start of the lesson until the end, Kristi was kind, confident, helpful, and enthusiastic while she shared logical tips. As the hour of instruction progressed, my daughter’s confidence and skills grew. Kristi took her through a helpful progression of skills and we ended the lesson with a newly skilled swimmer with a practice plan. She talked not only my daughter but also me through the process. We both felt relieved and confident at the end of the lesson, and I just got word that my daughter passed her test!!! Kristi was quick to expertly diagnose and trouble shoot the issues my daughter was facing. We got more out of one hour of instruction than we had over the course of a year at the “big box” swim schools. I am so thankful we found the Swim Whisperers!

My 11 year old daughter had taken classes at another swim school, but never became confident in the water. She was afraid of the water, and always refused to go in past her waist. Someone had recommended Kristi to us, and so I signed her up for private lessons. By the second lesson Kristi had my daughter jumping off the diving board in 13 feet of water, and by the third and forth lesson, she was swimming laps. I can't recommend Kristi enough. My daughter is now able to confidently go to the pool with her friends.

Working with coach Tami and coach Krista has been amazing! Our son (with coach Tami) went into his first lesson unwilling to even put his face in the water. Only 1 month later and he is independently jumping in and actually swimming to the ladder!! We are beyond thrilled with the progress both he and my daughter have made in such a short time. Highly recommend!!

To put it simply, Kristi is fantastic. She takes charge Day 1 and immediately had my swimming defiant son doing whatever she asked. After two weeks of the swim camp, he went from a timid poke your toe in the water swimmer to jumping in the pool and swimming to Kristi, me, my husband and anyone who asked. Right after lessons, we went on a family vacation and my entire family was commenting on how well my son was swimming - even the harshest critics. Kristi is truly skilled and is aptly named the Swim Whisperer!
